Course Outline
Week 1: Introduction to DJ Equipment and Software
Participants will familiarize themselves with various DJ gear and software, learning the fundamentals of setting up equipment and understanding essential functions.
Week 2 and 3: Beatmatching Techniques
These two weeks focus on the art of beatmatching, teaching students how to synchronize tempos and create seamless transitions between tracks.
Week 4: Mix Programming
Students will explore different mixing styles and genres, gaining insight into track selection, arrangement, and the importance of building energy throughout a set.
Week 5: Live Performance Skills
In the final week, participants will practice live performance techniques, including reading the crowd, improvisation, and showcasing their unique style. By the end of the course, students will have the basic skills and knowledge to take the next steps in their DJ journey.
